Anyone in Cotswolds? Need some ideas for significant activities.....

Hi

I am organising a joint 60th birthday bash for my godparents.

I have rented a large barn conversion in the Cotswolds for Easter weekend next year.

I need to find a suitable activity for 11 adults and possibly the 2 children for the Saturday.

I want it to be something a bit different, such as:

visiting a glass factory and having a go at glass blowing
visiting a pottery and making something
visiting a chocolatier and making something
Tank driving
Going to the races
etc etc

Anyone got any bright ideas???

Thanks in advance!

Depends where you are in the Cotswolds, but there are always lots of point to points around Easter. Horsey - but fun.

Also, go to my mil's beautiful photographic art gallery in Chipping Campden!

It's a bit far ahead to see their schedule, but you might find something wine-related at Waddesdon Manor - apparently now a fab children's adventure playground there too. If you look under the 'events' tab, you'll see the kind of things they do.

You could also try the Pudding Club, in Mickleton, where you have a many course dinner with just puddings?

races at cheltenham

At the Pudding Club you get a main meal and 7 puddings - I went last year. I did eat all 7 as well.
