Any tips for must do stuff? (I used to live there so not a total tourist) but..that was pre kids. DS1 is 9. I was thinking London eye and British Museum. Dont want to cram too much in. Maybe a trip through Covent Garden. Anywhere fun to eat round there? Thanks ladies of the big city from country bumpkins.

Moopymoo, strangely enough we've just had friends down to stay from Leeds and done the touristy bit

If you are planning on going on the London Eye, i'd advise you to book your tickets in advance if poss. If you son like Star Wars there is an exhibition just along from the eye as well as a horror one which is along the lines of the London Dungeons I think for Halloween. There are also the moving statues along the South Bank too.

The Science Museum and the Natural History Museum are good and more hands on than the British Museum.

Hope that helps and that you have a great day.

Beks

If you're going on the eye, Giraffe is a lovely place to eat that's right on the South Bank.
You can then walk across Waterloo Bridge and up Bow Street to Covent Garden, and then it's not far by foot to the British Museum.

Hope you have a great time .
