Nr Windsor Hotels with Parking

I've all but given up on abroad holidays next year so was hoping to treat myself to 3-5 days in and around Windsor. Visiting the Castle is on my bucket list.

Looking for recommendations of nice hotel, ideally with parking and other things to do in the area.

I'll be travelling from the north west and it'll just be me. I enjoy good food, shops, historic sites (like the castle) and I'm after a little luxury but nothing too £££

The Christopher Hotel on Eton High St is a nice little boutique hotel with parking, and you can walk into Windsor from there. You can park on the high street overnight as well, or in the carparks round the corner. The Christopher Wren on the Windsor side also has parking. Oakley Court is a country house hotel on the river - you can drive or cycle into Windsor (they lend bikes to guests). There are a few nice places to eat: Gilbey's, Cote, Bel & The Dragon all worth a look. If you don't mind driving there are places like the Crown in Bray (Heston Blumenthal), the Hand & Flowers in Marlow, Dorney Court Garden Cafe in Dorney which has beautiful original Tudor buildings to check out, or the Fox & Hounds at the Bishopsgate entrance to the Great Park which you can combine with a ramble in the park. In fact I would say don't miss the Great Park, so many visitors to Windsor venture halfway down the Long Walk and miss all the good bits.

From Windsor you can take the train into London for the day as well, without having to worry about parking.
