Brighton hotel recommendation please, walk to Lanes maybe a spa?

Moderate price please. Does anyone know of anything they can recommend please? Need to be near the shops!

whats moderate- we have stayed in many Brighton Hotels- some on the front are extortionate and hugely overated.

The best IMO is the Hotel DuVin- however earlier this year- we decided to just slum it in the premiertravelinn instead and I have to say that although from the outside it looked like an office block- inside it was nice and it was very central for lanes etc ( and CHEAP!!)

not sure what your budget is but blanch house is lovely. All the rooms are individually designed, and the cocktail bar is fab.

Thanks I ended up phoning the tourist info and apparently the Thistle is central and they are doing some autumn offers so think we may go there for our girly shopping trip.
