Ideas for Cheap London Accomodation Please!!

hi all

my sister and her two teenage daughters are travelling to London in late March next year. They are after some cheap, central, safe accomodation. Can anyone recommend any companies, website etc?

thanks Kewcumber, have just been on their website. It still works out a bit too expensive for the three of them once they convert to Australian dollars but I'm not sure they'll get any cheaper. She doesn't want to do shared dorms/bathrooms which I understand as she is concerned about the safety and security of her girls and their belongings.....??

most of them have a number of 2/3 bedded rooms so security isn't much of an issue or at least no more than a hotel. If she thinks YHA is expensive, and doesn't want to do shared bathrooms, I doubt central london is the place for them to stay. I can't imagine that you'll get cheaper for a hotel room in central London and most london htoels charge per person.

I'd be interested to know what it is and how she finds it. Am alwys on the hunt for good cheap accomodation for friends.

Ooh I'd like to know where she is staying too, as we live within travelling distance of London and like having long weekends there.
