40th birthday short break - something special?

It's DH 40th birthday at the end of September and I'd like to book a couple of nights away somewhere to celebrate either last week of September or first week of October.
I'd like something a bit different and out there but we will be taking our 2 year old too.
I've been looking at Port Lympne resort as he's a big animal fan but they've not got much available.
Anyone got any suggestions? We're in the east Midlands but willing to travel.

Is the Eden Project available? What kind of accommodation would you like? Are you thinking treehouse, boutique hotel, glamping?

@Palavah we're open for any type of accommodation really. As long as it has an ensuite or private bathroom. He wouldn't share a bathroom! Just somewhere a bit special or that has a special attraction/event IYSWIM.
Ideally I'd like to stay at the attraction, that's what drew me to look at Port Lympne. I liked the look of Whipsnades glamping pods as you get an after dark tour of the zoo but they've closed them until 2021. 😟
