Best coastal areas for a couple?

We have a week off early September and doesn’t look like we will be going abroad! Can anyone recommend any areas particularly suitable for a couple who like nice food, pubs, scenery and easy walks? A place with a pool would be great and prefer modern/bit of luxury to old style b&bs. We are torn between Norfolk, South Wales or Devon.

Have you considered the IOW ?

Sorry I know you said Wales or Norfolk etc but IOw is lovely. Lots of walks and coast.

The Gower Coast in South Wales is stunning 😍

Just about to say the Isle of Wight. It's lovely here. Loads of walking, pubs, beaches and accommodation for all tastes.

Lyme Regis is lovely. It’s in Dorset but close to Devon. The river cottage restaurant in Axminster is one of my best restaurant experiences. Beautiful, fresh, simple and balanced dishes. Unpretentious airy interior and lovely staff.

The Blakeney hotel is lovely and it has a pool. North norfolk

The Crown and Castle at Orford Ness is worth a look - doesn’t have a pool though.
