Hello, I am looking for recommendations of places to stay for 1 night for myself and 3 children near Legoland. Happy to be within about 20-30mins of the park. Hopefully, that won't break the bank too much...

We stayed at the premier inn. No issues there at all. That was me and DS who was 7 at the time so a while ago. Check the reviews.

We stopped at the holiday inn at Heathrow - we booked it through Legoland holidays and it was very reasonably priced.

How are you planning to get there and then to the park? We (DH and me with 5yo DD and baby DS) got the train to Slough, stayed in a family room at the Copthorne and got the bus to the park entrance.

Stirrups Hotel is possibly one of the best we’ve stayed in with the DC. It has rooms that sleep 5, children’s activity packs and large grounds with garden games.

Before you get too excited, is there any Legoland availability left this summer? I think it's booked up.

Depends what you want.

Ds and I were annual pass holders for years.

We always stayed at De Vere nearby. It has a pool and their buffet breakfast is plentiful with loads of choice. Loads of outdoor space and play areas and lots of wildlife.

We use to travel up for the afternoon. Use facilities and then eat at nearby harvester.

Then do park following day and drive home afterwards.

Thanks all.
I have a 2 day ticket booked already for end of the month.
I’ve looked at the 2 nearest Hilton’s which have awful reviews, and I’m not sure if booking a hotel with a pool is worth it at present, are swimming pools open yet?

We stay in the premier inn slough (utoxter road one) ideal location, cheap and a great breakfast to fill up!

HolyForkinShirt · 05/08/2020 07:43

Check availability on tickets first, it's getting really booked.

I got back yesterday, we stayed in the castle which is ridiculously expensive but worth every penny. But you do get a free day in the park.

Previously stayed in the Devere hotel nearby.

You would have to check individual hotels for pools but indoor pools are allowed to open.

We stayed at the copthorne when we went. Great hotel, has a kids check in area too with sweets. Although would recommend checking in before you go to Legoland if possible as we were there during fireworks and there was a huge queue for check in! As we had checked in early before we went LL we were able to skip queues and go straight to the room Smile

Hi we’re staying at Staybridge suites its quite new and the rooms are brilliant.

There is also a farm place called Willow Court Farm

TreeHuggerMum1 · 06/08/2020 20:42

Thanks all, I’ll take a look at those hotels.
