Preferred holiday park firm?

Hello, would appreciate your insights. Favourite holiday park firm? Park? Haven? Parkdean?

Also, have you stayed at a holiday park that you would highly-recommend? Somewhere you love?

Am planning a four-night trip w/c 31 August with my DH and four-year old DS. Just looking for a self-catering caravan, close to a beach (walking distance) and maybe somewhere close to a zoo or similar (not essential though)?

Thank you SO much in advance if you have a moment to respond. It's a minefield online.

😊🙏🏻

We always enjoyed Parkdean and have been to many in the south west - Torquay, Ruda, Looe but none in the south east.

Camber sands is nice for a family beach holiday.

We're on our way to Haven in Exmouth. First time for this type of holiday for us. Will let you know how it goes!

Haven and Parkdean seem to be the best quality. Unfortunately not been to any in the south east as its too close to home but loved Parkdean Ruda in Devon and Haven Riverie Sands in Cornwall, both next to massive sandy beaches. Worth noting that Haven this year aren't opening pools or entertainment.

Hoseasons can be variable. I think their parks are independently owned, so some are naice lodges and some are absolute shitholes. Park Holidays are very cheap but not the nicest parks. We stayed in one when very skint and used the caravan as a base, avoiding the dodgy clubhouse and pool.
