Hi, off to London tomorrow to see my 25 year old daughter for the day. Any good suggestions on what to do? She is in South London, but I can go anywhere. I have a car so can do anything pretty much.

Thanks for any suggestions

If you can face the tube, it's a good time to see things in Central London. The congestion charge now runs weekends so I wouldn't suggest driving in. We went to Tower Bridge on Friday without pre booking and had an amazing experience, we had the glass walkway to ourselves for 10 minutes and the staff were really welcoming. Or in South West London Kew Gardens still has tickets available for tomorrow, it's one of our favourite places. You do have to pre book for Kew.

If she is in south London, then Clapham Common Park is lovely, especially if it is a nice day. There are lots of cafes around that you could get a take away coffee and go for a walk.
If you want to do more touristy things, then obviously the main things are in central London, Buckingham palace etc.
