Short outings by direct train from Ipswich

I'm looking for some very short outings (don't have to be whole day) which would be accessible by direct train from Ipswich.

Historic interest, nature, museums, trains, walks, churches - that kind of thing. Preferably anything which is also in easy reach of the train station at the destination.

Bury St Edmunds - abbey and abbey gardens
Norwich - cathedral, plantation garden
