Overnight stay at a beach from west midlands

Hi I am looking to book an overnight stay travelling from the West Midlands. We want somewhere that has a beach and is child friendly, has anyone got any recommendations? Thanks

As there are many beautiful places in Wales but Wales has different regulations on travel and overnight stays.

The closest beaches are Weston and Brean.
