Would you book a holiday for next year how?

I really want to get some holiday plans sorted for next year, I like having the time to save for activities etc..

I only want to do UK as we’ll have 3u3 and couldn’t think of anything worse than flying with young children 😂

Is it silly to book now? Do we think it’ll be possible? Or even if we can go, what do we think about the possibility of still having to socially distance so unable to do the activities we usually enjoy?

Really stuck here! What are your opinions?

If you wait you risk a lot of places being fully booked because 1) they have had to move people from this year into next year and 2) because flying may still be limited and therefore there will be more people looking to holiday at home.

that said, I would only be booking with somewhere that takes minimal deposit and in their terms and conditions they positively state that if we are on lockdown then you get a full refund. You wont be able to get any travel insurance even for the uk that covers you for corona so the best thing you can rely on is the terms and conditions of the place you book with. always book directly with the owners not through an online portal like airbnb or booking.com and you will get a better deal. I would fully expect that next year some form of restrictions will still be in place because we are going to have to live with this for years.

Yep. I've booked for next year. UK holiday prices will probably go up considerably due to increased demand.
