Taking DS to London for half term to see the Star Wars Exhibition at County Hall. He is SO excited about fighting with 'real' light sabres and meeting the 'real' Obi Wan.

Annnyyway... although we used to live in London in a previous life I can't decided where to stay!

Went last year for a weekend and stayed at the Marriott Marble Arch which was fine but there weren't many restaurants within walking distance that suited us all. I used to work just off Edgeware Road so know that area OK.

Looking for nice hotel money no object not too expensive but nice - 4 star prob in an area with lots of life and restaurants etc.

Any suggestions oh clever lovely people?

I think the Travelodge near County Hall is recommended, particularly for famililes. It's very buzzy near the Festival Hall now they've spruced it up - several restaurants / cafes and lots of life. Much better than previously.

Sorry, not Travelodge but Travel Inn.
