Looking for a holiday next summer for myself, sisters and their families and mum and dad.

12 of us altogether, probably in 2 groups of 6.

Somewhere like Center Parcs but not... Loads for children to do without going very far, but something a bit more plush in terms of accommodation. Mum is a bit reluctant to pay "£1000 for a week in student accommodation!"

Does such a place exist???

My family all loved \link{http://www.balbeg.co.uk/rates_rabbieburns.htm/Balbag}

Ok its not centre parks but it is surrounded by gorgeous estate. Great to sit out on the deck areas and let the kids run wild in the woods.

Has a play park and adventure playground, football pitch, great walks.

Near to

  • Robert Burn Cottage and Heritage Park
    Birthplace and environment that inspired the imagination of Robert Burns, our national bard.

  • Culzean Castle and Country Park
    One of Scotland?s premier tourist attractions maintained by National Trust for Scotland. Touring the castle, walled garden and country park will keep you amused all day.

  • The Galloway Forest Park
    Acres of forest, lochs and hills
