Holiday accommodation with wild swimming?

Would love to spend a few days this summer in a nice hotel/airbnb/holiday cottage with beautiful freshwater swimming on the door step. Anyone stayed somewhere with a river or lake in the grounds that you can swim in? Yorkshire Dales would be ideal but open to suggestions around the UK. I can't drive so driving to swimspots from accomodation isn't an option, sadly. Thanks!

Wild swimming in the sea?? We have a lovely, family friendly holiday cottage on the west of Scotland with a 2min walk to the beach (on site)

Do an Internet search for wild swimming, look for the area you'd like to swim and check some reviews, then figure out accommodation. If there is none near to the swimming locations, take a tent and enjoy nature at its finest. Don't forget to pack a towel. I always take a super-lightweight, quick-drying towel; folds up to the size of your foot.
