Stunning sea views for a weekend break in December, preferably self catering

I’m 50 next year and I’m starting to think about where to spend the weekend. I definitely want to be in a frontline coastal place with fantastic views of the sea to wake up to, not too fussed about location it really is the views that’ll decide where we go

Would prefer self catering but open to anything as long as the views are there, prepared to push the boat out financially (hence the forward planning so I can save up)

Any help would be massively appreciated 😊

Some fantastic places on here, thank you all so much 😊

A lot of holiday rentals generally are Friday to Monday and as my birthday will be Friday I really need Thursday to Sunday so I think a self catering cottage at the Headland hotel in Newquay is looking promising

@TeapotCollection you said December yes? Unless it's over Xmas or NY it's definitely worth contacting them to ask if they'd consider a different booking time. In my experience they are often quite flexible if you ask

Thank you, I might just do that. It’s early December so I can’t see them being mega busy

Orkney! It’s beautiful and you have a decent shot at seeing the northern lights in December.
