Hotel and brunch in London

Have tickets for Hamilton in a couple of weeks and considering staying in London for the night and having brunch the next day. Any suggestions for places to stay or good places for brunch? We live not that far out so no real experience of staying in London. For me and DH, doesn't need to be dirt cheap but not too outrageous either!

For brunch: www.thewolseley.com/

When we went to see Hamilton we stayed at the Premier Inn in Victoria, which was walking distance from the theatre, fine & cheap for London.

We had a really nice breakfast afterwards at a nearby Le Pain Quotidien, but if you want something bit special then the PP's suggestion of the Wolseley is an excellent one - it's fab.

We always stay at the Langham. Worth booking executive lounge access rooms.

Try the Artist Residence. Walking distance from Hamilton and really nice.

I won’t go into le pain quotidien as they serve their tea/coffee in soup bowls. It’s really disconcerting (and cold).

When we go to London we stay at the Clayton Chiswick. 300yds or so from Gunnersby tube station.
