So I'm looking at somewhere to take my 6 y/o this weekend for a day with just the two of us. I've looked and noticed that there is a new place opening called Sticky Paws which looks good. However, I have no back-up plans if they aren't open yet. Suggestions?

If you're visiting at a weekend you could try the Anderton Lift

That looks like fun and will satisfy the 6 y/o curiosity

This is a nice trip and can be done in poor weather

You pass Dyserth falls, nice walk to the waterfall and caves / woods. Roman Villa Ruin, Prestatyn so good chippy / cafe / shopping. On to Rhuddlan castle, then Angel Bay to see the seals and finish in Llandudno. Just wrap up and go.

We've been to the Ice Cream Farm before which is why we were interested in Sticky Paws as it's part of their family. I'll definitely take a look at these places next time :)
