Can be hotel, B&B or cottage - we are heading to a wedding and would like to make a week/weekend of it. Somewhere close to Selworthy or Dunster would be ideal if possible as this is near the wedding.

I have never been and lots of sites listing Somerset accommodation are closer to Bath etc!

I grew up near Dunster and was in the Lutterell at Xmas. I have never seen the rooms but the downstairs is lovely and they serve good food. It is not the cheapest but I think it would be a good bet. Dunster is a lovely village and if you have time and want some sea air, go down to Dunster beach which is very unspoilt Is the wedding at Selworthy church? I so wish I had got married there, amazing views. The Porlock Weir Hotel is also owned by the same people as The Lutterell which is in a lovely spot, so peaceful by the water and about four miles from Selworthy.

Not been for several years but the Luttrell Arms should be fine.

Selworthy is lovely but IMO the best way to get there is by walking to it through the woods on North Hill.

(We used to stay in the Northfield in Minehead when DD was small as it has a small pool and was good for child, dog and granny combinationGrin)

I’d go for the Luttrell if I were you. And Dunster is a lovely little town.
