Has anyone stayed at The Cove in Cornwall?

We are thinking about a week there. Is it as nice as it looks? We have a one year old and it looks ideal - or are appearances deceptive?

Trip ADvisor seems to suggest it was patchy in 2005 and before then renovated and now everyone raves about it. Guardian looks promising too. Has anyone acutally been there? I am very tempted.
