Anybody ever been to Starry Skies?

Just wanting to get some independent reviews if so. We have considered it for the last few years and wondering now if the kids are perhaps too old (pre teens) to really enjoy it.

Also wondering if the same families have been going for years and if maybe its a bit cliquey now?

My good friends went with another couple of families and hated it.

From what they said it was really aimed at tiny kids, and was just souped up expensive playgroup activities.

With preteens why not either a. just go camping (Eweleaze etc if you want a festival vibe) or b. go to a family friendly festival like Green Man where the kids offer is amazing and there's stuff going on for adults. (GM weather is notoriously awful though)
