DS1 will be 18 tomorrow! We live in France but have always encouraged a love of the UK - family, friends and London whenever possible. For his birthday he has asked to take his girlfriend to London. His Aunt & Uncle live in Hornchurch so they will fly there, have two nights with them and then two nights on their own doing "London stuff". But where to stay?! I've found a Premier Inn hub on Brick Lane, but would love any other suggestions (I'm a northerner and have no clue about "areas") and really, what I'd do and what two 18 year olds want to do are not really the same thing. I want them to be safe (GF is French, and maybe not so streetwise) but not have loads of travelling and make the most of their 2 days! Obviously don't really want to be paying top end prices either.
