Please help me find my perfect holiday seaside cottage!

Can anyone help me find the perfect holiday cottage - please! I'm lost amidst a sea of options and none are quite right! It's for the beginning of February - 2 of us, we don't drive so must be reachable by train, and near to pub, shop and sea, ideally with a real fire too! I'm North west based and don't want to travel more than 4 hours. I've got a fantasy about being right by the sea, but my dream properties all seem to be in Cornwall and it's just too far to go on the train! Has anybody been anywhere they could recommend? I'm just trawling through lists and lists of cottages now, and losing the will to live. Thank you so much!

Train to Chester then catch the train out to Angelsey. Then I'd get off at Valley and stay in that area.

Check out Bryn Tirion cottage on booking.com.
Week commencing 15th Feb £389 for 7 nights. Has real fires too!

Try Snap trip, loads in North Wales.
Some good wales info here

Tywyn, mid wales, has lots of self catering properties right by the beach (don’t think they'd have real fires though) and it’s on a train line. Have a look at Lounge Lettings, which seems to be the main holiday Lettings agency.

You can get to north Berwick by train via Edinburgh. Lots of places right on the beach

I was going to say Anglesey, or Robin Hoods Bay is lovely, great chip shop!

Robin Hood just checked is a nightmare for public transport.
