Hotels close to the O2 in London ?

I've booked tickets to see a concert in the O2 in London next year and will need to book a hotel for the night too, I was just thinking where is best to stay in London that is not too far from the O2?

I've been looking at travelodge hotels etc but have no clue where would be best.

Would appreciate any help that any one can give, thanks in advance

We usually save up and stay at the Intercontinental as you can walk there from the arena in 5/10 minutes. I can’t face public transport after a show! But it is expensive

There is a holiday inn express near there.

Thank you both for the replies! The intercontinental looks lovely and is only £20 more than the holiday inn express so I think I'm gonna go with that, it would be much easier to be within walking distance

When we go to anything at the O2, we stay at the Premier Inn in Woolwich and we get the riverboat to the O2.
