I've heard people saying Glasgow's got loads to do for kids - what's the MNers verdict?

Science Centre is meant to be fab. I've not been yet but know people who have.

Science Centre is indeed fab. Expensive but fab. Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery is good too, and free.

Xscape out at Braehead is good too. Ski slope, climbing wall etc. Or People's Palace in city centre, which is free. Or take a subway to the west end and go to the Botanics and down Byres Road. Enjoy

Go on open topped tour bus to see all sites. Science centre good, Kelvingrove Museum with Transport Museum opposite also good. Could also try the Lighthouse (off Buchanan Street), the Tall Ship on the Clydeside. Paperino's very good pizzas and family friendly. Restraunts in Byres Road and Sauchiehall Street.

oh yes, kelvingrove museum is lovely and there's a good skateboard park just across the road (in kelvingrove park) - my girls like watching the skaters for a while.
