Thinking of a long weekend away by myself-recommendations please!

Hi, I’m thinking of having a few days away by myself for a few days. I am separating and am pregnant, so have lots going on! I need a little of time to clear my head.
Can anyone recommend somewhere in the UK that is nice but not too expensive? Just somewhere relaxing perhaps with nice surroundings would be good. Thanks!

After reading that back to myself, I note I should not try talking while typing😂. My OCD is now going mad!!

Haha! Finding a cheap holiday depends where you live but I love Bath, Stratford on Avon, Edinburgh, York or Harrogate. Have a look on Travel zoo and other offer sites to grab a bargain xx

Cotswolds? Not sure of your budget but The Fish Hotel is perfect for escaping it all for a bit if too pricey there are lots of much cheaper b&b's or pubs with rooms.

Are you thinking spa and pampering indoors or quiet scenic surroundings?

Thank you for your replies! I will have a look online for your suggestions. I am not too bothered about being pampered as such. I’m still keeping fairly active so happy to enjoy nice surroundings and take myself out for a meal.
I just need to be away for a short time. Things are very difficult at the moment. The people I thought I could turn to have turned out not to be so need to sort myself out.

Stay at the pubs in either Edale or Hope in the Hope Valley. There's plenty of gentle valley and lower level walks.
