Anyone living in Shetland

Looking to move family to Shetland. I was wondering if anyone that has made the move, could share their experiences

Going to Exmoor for a few days at the weekend. Can anyone suggest a toddler friendly pool in the area?

My husband was offered a work transfer. We stayed for a while but gtr initially loving it I did find it hard (and I already live rural so i m used to it) i struggled in the winter but it's a beautiful place.

I know people who live there, one of whom needs to get off the Island a few times a year. To Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, other wise she gets a bit stir crazy. They've been there years and do love it but the wind and darkness can get you down. And it's very smallness.

I haven't been because I, like most people, have only some much annual leave and it can be quite expensive to get there. On my personal cost/benefit analysis, it's never seemed worth it.
