Family Hotel in North or Mid Wales?

Am thinking of doing a long weekend in Sept with hubby, dd (aged 3) and ds (aged 7mths).

Am looking for a biggish hotel (with a pool would be brilliant) and that is suitable for children.

I live in Manchester so am thinking of LLandudno or Conwy but don't really know any of the areas or what there is to do if weather is shitty!

Thanks

theres a country club in dyserth that has self catering log cabins or hotel accomodation with gym, treatments and pool. can't remember its name but fab accomodation and pool lovely. no other on site activities other than a bar.

bad weather activities - the aquarium at rhyl, indoor wave pool at rhyl. theres a soft play attached to a pub/hotel further along the road from dyserth - the tallory? or something like that.

There is a hotel in Abersoch, the Porth Tocyn, which is very nice and family friendly, although it is expensive.
