Need local info about m42 j3a to j8 - East birmingham

Look for a family type pub or eating place close to one of those junctions that is very easy to find from either direction.

Driving out to a village would be fine.

Any ideas - need to meet up with some friends for a few hours, neither of us know the area!

I only really know the 3a area really- there is a 'wacky warehouse' type pub close by (at Wythall)- not much use am I?
