Hi All

My mum is coming over for 3months and she will live with me and to help with my DS while I work full time ( returning to part time after these 3 months).

I want to make sure we are covered in case she may need to see the gp during this time. Shall I take out an insurance for her?

I just don’t want to stress in case she may need to see a doctor during this time however this may not be required but just to be on the safe side.

What do you advise?

Thank you

She needs health insurance.

Where is she coming from? Within eu the ehic system should cover her (unless Brexit intervenes).

Insurance! I did the same when my mum came to do the same as yours, she didn't use it but gives you peace of mind!

@hopscotchz did you google the insurance?
Which company did you use? When I google travel insurance is for outside the Uk.

@Itsacrazyworld she got it in her country, it was a standard health insurance for travelling, I just made sure that the UK was covered.

Most travel insurances should cover her, provided she has a specific end date (and a return flight) for her stay.
