Decent places to stay in Cambridge

I'm thinking about taking my 2DC to visit my very ancient grandmother in Cambridge for a week over Christmas.

Anyone got any suggestions for decent places to stay? I'd rather a flat than a hotel really or at least a kitchenette type thing so we don't have to eat all meals out.

She lives very close to Jesus Green so we'd like to be in easy walking distance.

We got an Air Bnb last time but it was really disappointing and nothing like the reviews so I'm after some recommendations. TIA

Try the youth hostel. It's by the train station.

There are lots of serviced apartments in Cambridge, if you can budget for it. I stayed in one the night before my wedding by Parker’s piece at the site of the old post office (not sure how much you know Cambridge). Mill Road.
