Sunday lunch out near Marlborough

Hi all,

I am looking for a sunday lunch in or near Marlborough for a family get together, age range 5 - 65! Also includes one mad spaniel...

Anyone know anywhere good? Decent food, reasonable source of entertainment for kids and said dog?

The Outside Chance has direct access to Manton Green playing fields with its children’s play area and to the River Kennet,where there areplenty of ducks to feed. It has a large car park and a decent children’s menu. The terrace is lovely in the summer.
The Who’d Have Thought It (yes, it’s really called that!) is another good pub with a new children’s obstacle course and play area which occupies half of the enormous beer garden. Again, it’s got a good children’s menu.
