Wanted to visit this beautiful little gem again for years between Christmas and NY. I'm not enormously fussy, just looking for a nice walk along the beach, a good few shops where I can buy usual high street things for myself and my house (with maybe a few little oldy worldly places or a market if I'm really lucky but not essential) and a few quiet places to have lunch or a glass of wine. I'll be by myself after a bit of a stressful year. Nobody is allowed to come! Was thinking of Llandudno??

😅

Narberth is lovely. Really pretty little town, nice shops and a couple of places to eat. Few miles/ten mins drive from the beach.

nancy Narberth is one of my favourite towns

Anywhere in South Pembs would make a lovely trip over Christmas & NY. I have a place there so that time of year I find easier, there are tourists but less than in summer. The weather is usually better than they forecast too Wink

It depends how much you will want people around you. Saundersfoot is nice, small and fairly quiet (apart from NY day swimShock), Tenby will be busier, worth having a car to get to see the variety of beaches in the area.

My favourite is Freshwater West, take a flask of coffee there are no amenities, heaven on earth.
