I've booked a long weekend with me and 12yo for my big birthday soon. We've booked lots of activities on the Sat and Sun leaving Fri and Mon to explore and wander and not to be rushing from A to B.
I'm worried some of the activities might be a bit young for dd? She LOVES animals so we've booked a few things like Farmyard Friends and Cool Creatures. Will she feel really out of place at these? I was also hoping to book myself in for a spa treatment on my birthday but I don't know what to do with Dd! There's a creche for little ones and activity den stuff for up to 7yo. Spa treatments have a minimum age of 14 so she couldn't just come with me. And I don't like the idea of leaving her along in a strange place for a bit. She'd be nervous of this too. Any ideas? There doesn't seem to be any activities at that age which can be done without me accompanying her.
