Does anyone know a fabulous place (castle) to stay in Central England for 19 people? (mixed ages)

to celebrate a number of momentous occasions (birthdays / anniversaries including a silver and a gold)

age range from 3 to 87

preferably somewhere that has style and lovely food?

between London and Manchester would be great

Twig....whilst getting excited about staying in a castle for my parents' 40th I came upon the idea of a private dining function in a restaurant and then an overnight stay.

Stonnwall manor is pretty cool.

There is a castley place in Wilts but it may not be big enough - hang on a tick.

Long's Park Castle - suits of armour and everything. c £1200 for an off-peak weekend.

Only sleeps up to 16 though
