On holiday soon, off to Edinburgh - what's there to keep little ones happy...?

We went to Edinburgh last Easter and had a fantastic time; but spent most of it at the Science Festival Events! We enjoyed Dynamic Earth though.

We parked at the Newcraighall Park&Ride as recommended by Skribble, and that worked really well for us.

Where are you all staying in Edinburgh? Comments please!

I don't think anyone has mentioned Edinburgh Castle yet. It is a really good visit - always has been, but in recent years, they have recreated historical scenes in the various rooms, and added the appropriate music, voices, screams etc. The last time we were there, they had entertainment for children too (balloon modellers, clowns, falconry, the usual...).

Nymphadora - Seton Sands is a fair ways from Edinburgh.

About 1/2 an hour apparantly. So not too bad. Any more suggestions for half term?
