Uk break with a 18 month old

Me and DH have a few days off work coming up so we’re planning to go away Thursday- Sunday on the last weekend of July.

We are in the South East and we were originally thinking of a holiday park somewhere as the main goal is for us to relax and to keep the little one entertained but a holiday park doesn’t work for the days we want to go as they are either Mon-Fri or Fri-Monday.

Any one got any suggestions on suitable places for the days we can do?

Bournemouth is pretty good. You could stay in a hotel / apartment near Alum Chine and walk onto the beach. A beach hut usually costs around £49-50 per day but can reduce food costs as many contain fridges and you have somewhere for dc to nap too.

When I was looking at holiday parks on the Isle of Wight, I came across several which allowed random arrival and departure dates and didn’t specify a duration of stay. Try Nodes Point in Ryde, Landguard at Shanklin and Thorness Bay near Cowes.
