Not sure it counts as the coast but I've never really been anywhere in the South except London so a bit sketchy with geography...

We're thinking of doing Legoland Windsor and Peppa Pig land with two little ones and possibly the HP studios. Where should we stay to access these places? Is there any must-see places in that neck of the woods? We'll have a car and 2 toddlers!

Went to Legoland a few weeks ago and thought it was pretty dull, as did my ds. Very expensive, crowded and many things shut over the Easter hols.

Paultons/pp world is about half the price and loads more fun.

If you’re looking for beaches, sandbanks is beautiful.

Legoland was a disaster for us - overpriced, dirty, lots of rides closed or breaking down whilst you were queuing. And the queues were hours long. I’d say way too much for a toddler to bear (my DC were a bit older but still hated it).

I agree with others on Bournemouth beach - that has been our best weekend away. Longleat Safari Park is also worth a visit.

Your kids would love peppa pig world but you'll be bored out of your mind lol

The best places on the south coast are beaches and the new forest area is lovely too

Paultons park is great, my dd loved peppa pig world and the dinsoaur bits in the main park.
