BURNHAM ON SEA things to do, places to see and where to eat please?

Going to Burnham on Sea in a couple of weeks. The South coast ladies sorted me out some great places togo and eat last year and I wondered whether the Somerset ladies could sort me out this year. We did used to live in the area so we have some stuff on the list already (e.g. Wookey hole/cheddar Gorge; Balloon festival; Longleat;Weston (maybe))

Can you help me with places to eat and other days out?
Looking for

1. family pub/restaurants
2. Decent fish and chips (Burnham or Weston)
3. Decent fried breakfast
4. Nice little place for a sandwich/snack

Anything else I need to know?

Seagull Inn (opp Pontins) great family pub, excellent food. Entertainment in evenings.

I'm sure you already know about this place, but just in case you don't...

I went there a few (approx 4) years ago when dds were 4 and 6, they really liked it and there was plenty to see and do...looks like they've added more things since then.

Actualy didn't know about that. We lived their pre DC so we weren't looking at that type of attraction. Looks good though from the 2 sec glance at website....
