Something nice for october half term in UK or abroad

Hi! I will have a 10 months old and 4 year to entertain during October half term. After this half term I thought it would make sense to go somewhere. My aunt is visiting at the same time and we wanted to make the most of the time. We live in Eastcote and I drive, so wondered if there are any nice spots within a two hours drive which have Indoor activities for the 4 year old as well as a nice Indoor pool? We were looking to book something for a couple of nights but it should be max 250 for all of us. Is that even possible during half term? And, would you book now or last minute? Will there likely be something available abroad if the Uk is too rainy? I keep finding Holiday parks but am ancious to end up in a cold and smelly caravan as those breaks seem so cheap?

Hi I dont think you will get a holiday abroad for £250 for 3-4 people.
How about a cottage in the UK?

I think it would be hard to find anywhere within your budget that isn’t a family room with a double bed. I’m guessing you and your aunt don’t want to share a bed!

If you pick a newer caravan it will be fine and choose one with an indoor pool and decent indoor facilities at that time of year. 4 year olds love the cheesy disco and kids entertainment
