I am likely to have a Saturday night in Cheltenham toute seule when I take dd up for a taster weekend (she is starting school there next year). I’m quite looking forward to a weekend of solitary tootling about but the place where I usually eat (pub called the tavern with v good food) is perhaps not the best for a solo diner on a Saturday - it’s all big groups, live bands etc. Where can I go with nice food where I can prop my book up and enjoy some solitary scoff?
