Just want to be by a proper river

I'm looking for UK accommodation that is right near a proper fast moving river that you can paddle in. Pebbly. Babbling. You know. We live near very slow moving wide rivers that have crumbly soil banks. No paddling possible. This makes me sad lately and I feel quite desperate for a proper river.

Anywhere in the UK? Lots in Scotland.

Look at Fairy Glen, should tick all the boxes, very near some nice places to stay, eat, etc

I'm sure I've found more at HH that were next to paddling rivers but unfortunately "stream" isn't a search term! They do have live chat though so would be able to point you in the right direction if you are interested in the SW.
