Isle of Wigh recomendations - august bankholiday

Hi

I'm thinking of making plans to the isle of wight on the august bank holiday weekend.

Would be two nights.

Would prefer a spa type hotel but close enough to somewhere outside that we can eat outside the hotel without having to drive.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Lakeside Park has a good spa with a hydro pool, spa pool, sauna, steam room and an 'Experience Shower. The Brasserie and many of its rooms overlook the lake, and there are some lovely walks from the hotel through woodland or down to the coastline. It’s within walking distance of The Sloop Inn which does good roasts and a restaurant called Cibo which does a bottomless brunch with Prosecco at the weekend!
