centreparcs, longleat-i bedroom executive villas

Has anyone been to Longleat centre parcs and stayed in a 1 bedroom executive villa. What are your views? Do they have cooking facilities?

have been to longleat but stayed in 2 bedroom non executive..

have you checked there website normally tells you whats in each type of accomodation

Not stayed in Executive, but I thought all villa's had at least some basic kitchen facilities.

XV1 and XA1/XA1T floor plans indicate that they have a cooker hob. However they are only indicative plans, though XA1/XA1T does say "Hob unit and grill microwave".

What cooking facilities do you want? I seem to recall the 2 bed Comfort villa's had an Oven, Hob, Microwave and a Fridge. Expect that it is possible that the 1 Bed Exec does not have the oven, as they may expect you to be eating out mostly.

Probably best to call customer services and ask them what facilities the specific villa has.

Have been looking on website, but different plans suggest fifferent things. Hopefully we will at least have a hob. Husband booked it and forgot to ask. Was just reading other thread and worried as a few people said Longleat accomodation was not that good.

You can cook in all of them.

Thats great collission. As long as I have a hob I am fine.

oh i loved our villa there, and i can be a bit fussy.... take own plates and cutlery etc.....

my and 2 dd's planned to eat out every night but we didnt, we would eat early then go swimming till 9.30 pm and get the land train back to villa, in the pitch black, girls loved it i found the dark scary... (wuss me)

safari park was shut when we went in february, so we plan to go back in summer and stay at a b&b for the night,

we did have a day out at wookey hole which isnt to far away,

most people saty on the site though but we didnt as we refused to pay the stupid prices for activities,

we only went as it was a pressie from my dad while he did some work in my house and he wanted us out the way...

many say longleat is hilly, we did hire bikes but girls couldnt manage them so we took them back the next day

The comment on the other thread is a little worrying - but is purely one persons experience, though admittedly a recent experience in a 1 bed exec at Longleat.

It is possible that some villa accommodation is in need of upgrade. Finding out what your villa is like is all part of the fun

Whatever happens, enjoy yourself - I recommend the Spa Supper (spa evening with supper).

yes, I am planning a spa treat and I quite fancy a trip to the safari park as well. more excited now than worried.

I've never stayed at longleat, but have stayed at the others and always in exec villa and all have adequate cooking facilities - but I always take a cork-screw / bottle opener in case as they are sometimes missing. Once you get your info thro' two weeks before you go it will have your villa code and then you can check the details on the website. have fun
