Holiday for group of 16 year olds (and me)

My daughter and about 4 friends would like to go on holiday together.
I am assuming that nobody would rent a property to them but I am happy to go along but to stay out of their way.
They would want the beach and somewhere to go in the evenings and we would need somewhere to stay where I can be available if needed but not around too much.
Any suggestions please?
I know the girls very well and am reasonably confident that they would be reasonably sensible!!

How far are you willing to travel?

They can go to a Youth Hostel by themselves.

We are Midlands so 3 - 4 hours.

A relative was n a similar situation, they went to Spain and booked two apartments next to each other, relative, husband and dc2 in one, the 16 year old girls in the other.

I'd probably look for an all inclusive so they only need to have pocket money with them.

Do you mean 3 -4 hours flight or driving?

SOmething like Haven might suit, you have evening entertainment and often the beach in walking distance.

The Bay at Filey in Yorkshire has direct beach access, an indoor pool, treatment room, sauna, steam room and a couple of restaurants.
On some evenings they have live music or comedy acts.

Thanks. I meant driving as I'm not sure of the girls' budget.
Are Haven ok?
I was wondering about a Travelodge at Bournemouth or similar?

Haven are OK, I mean you don't see a west end musical but you do get entertainment. There are a couple of bars and places to eat. Do a supermarket shop before you go though.

The suggestion of Filey is good in terms of distance, you could take yourself off to Scarborough or Whitby for the day, with or without the girls.

That coastline is my favorite.

A caravan site would work - there's a clubhouse for the evening, pool in the daytime and pick one near a town eg Paignton in Devon is one we stayed at. Not sure on your budget but they are from £500-1000 for a week and (unless you are taking a dog) do go for a newer one as they otherwise are a bit dated, we had a gold 4 bed last time

Slightly further afield, but some friends took a group of 16 yos to La Manga and apparently that worked well.
