what are the best things to do with a 3 yr old on a weekend in York? (in rain probably)

am accompanying dp on a business trip; he will leave us to it, so would appreciate some guidance ! tks

Railway Museum is free and pretty good. Also it's big enough that kids can run around a bit. There is one of those London-Eye-type big wheels right next to it, too.
