Spa or nice hotel near Coventry?

My husband and I will be in Coventry for a wedding on the 4th August and I am keen to take the opportunity to get a little pampering in before my twins arrive in September. Can anyone recommend a good spa hotel in or around Coventry - or else just a luxurious place to spend a couple of nights?

Not really looking to do any shopping or anything like that so I would rather go somewhere with lovely grounds to relax in!

Any suggestions gratfully received.

(We live in Surrey so anywhere between Coventry and London would actually be useful, although the closer to Coventry the better)

Coombe Abbey is on the edge of Coventry. Don't think it has a spa, though.

Something rural I think...although I could be persuaded with a lovely hotel in Coventry! honestly, I don't really mind but any suggestions are helpful as I don't know the area at all.

Coombe Abbey Hotel

hellidon lakes is a nice hotel with pool etc very rural lovely scenery. About a 40 min drive from coventry.
Forest of arden country club, 10min north of coventry. Has a spa, 5 star etc, rural scenery.

Both hotels mentioned are lovely, but completely different. Coombe Abbey Hotel stands inside a large, public park. The grounds are beautiful, but it is very popular with locals for a day out as there are play parks, huge open spaces for running around, woodland walks etc. If you are looking for some "get away from it all" pampering it might not be the place for you, although the hotel does have private grounds.

The Forest of Arden is superb. We used to have work conferences there as a treat for all the staff at the end of the year. There is a Spa with pool, jacuzzi, massage etc. The food is fabulous. Its a bit out of town, accessible from the dual carriageway. It has its own golf course, so the grounds are mamouth and its very peaceful.
