My partner and I are thinking of going up to the Lakes for a long weekend with our son, who will be almost 2 when we go (April). Any suggestions on where to stay - we are looking for a child friendly hotel with facilities such as play areas on site. Another Place hotel comes to mind, but it has had some mixed reviews. We are travelling up by train from London and will not have a car, so would like to stay somewhere with easy access to amenities walks etc. Any suggestions/advice please?
