Hi, looking for a Crieff Hydro substiture. Crieff Hydro looks great and is recommended loads on here but it is simply too far away. It would be for me and my sister (30 somethings) our parents (in 70s and one has a lot of mobility issues) and my three year old. We would be travelling from Scotland, the Midlands and Manchester. I wouldn't use childcare so it doesn't need to include that but somewhere with a few kids' things, few grown up things and few things to do locally would be ideal. Sounds like a tall order I know! I suspect Crieff Hydro is so recommended because there isn't anywhere else like it but I'll cross my fingers...! Would consider self catering or hotel. Not somewhere like Butlins, Centre Parcs etc as they are too child / outdoorsy focused and we only have one child and are limited outdoorsy wise due to ages and abilities / mobility factors. We don't have to do everything together but I'm the only drivers so while I'm happy to be a bit of a taxi service I don't want to be driving loads, especially with us all squashed up in the car!
